DHC Express

After launching the first DHC in Kwai Tsing District in 2019, the Government committed to expedite the setting up of DHCs in all 18 districts, and is expected to launch six more full-fledged DHCs by 2022 in the districts below:

  • Sham Shui Po
  • Wong Tai Sin
  • Tuen Mun
  • Yuen Long
  • Southern
  • Tsuen Wan

    • In the remaining 11 districts where full-fledged DHCs would yet to be set up, an interim “DHC Expresses” (DHCE) were set up within September and October 2021 to provide key primary healthcare services, including health promotion and education, health risk factors assessment and chronic disease management. These “DHC Express” services will migrate as appropriate to the local DHC at a later stage.

    The interim “DHC Expresses” have been set up in the 11 districts as below:
