To facilitate provision of prevention-oriented and personalised primary healthcare services for women, services of the three Woman Health Centres under the Department of Health will be integrated into the district health network.
The District Health Centres/Expresses (DHCs/DHCEs) in 18 districts will enhance women's health related promotion and education, as well as providing the new women's health nurse clinic to encourage self-care management, and through basic health assessment and individual consultations to identify women in need of receiving women's health services at the Women Wellness Satellites (WWSs) .
Starting from 24 January 2025, women who are interested in receiving women's health services can register at DHCs/DHCEs for initial assessment. Subject to their needs, they will be referred to WWSs for scheduling to receive services. WWSs will commence operation by phases from June 2025.
*WWSs will contact the registered women for appointment booking around one month prior to commencement of operation.
